Bit Defender protects against viruses, trojans, worms, rootkits, spyware, malware, spam, phishing attacks and also offers parental control features to keep your family safe from inappropriate content while surfing the Internet.
We found the interface to be very easy to use even for users new to anti-virus software. Bitdefender uses a lot of system resources which can slow down other programs but it offers a gaming mode that temporarily modifies protection settings so as to minimize your impact on gaming performance, maintaining a safe, fun gaming experience.
